Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) are powerful web applications displayed using rich media technology such as Flash or QuickTime. The purpose of RIAs is to deliver the necessary functionality while enhancing the overall user experience. RIAs are often single-page web applications that look and feel as comfortable as your regular desktop software.
